The Monocle Café on London’s Chiltern Street has been open and buzzing since early 2013. Having extended our hours and menu offering we are on the hunt for talented candidates to fill catering positions for weekends and weekdays. The ideal candidate must have a passion for cooking and preparing cosy dishes. Those with a flair for Japanese food will be placed at the front of the queue. Attention to detail and efficiency is a must. You will be required to work closely with food – both its preparation and presentation – and to keep your workspace in a perfect condition at all times. The ideal candidate must have a passion for the Monocle brand and good coffee; those with a flair for cookery and previous experience in independent cafés will be placed at the front of the queue. You will be adaptable to challenges in a new environment and a keen ambassador for the Monocle brand. You will be required to work closely with food – both its preparation and presentation. You will also provide impeccable and friendly customer service while keeping our cosy café looking immaculate. Attention to detail is a must.
